Quantum Controls Scores Big with Local Football Team Sponsorship
Our Area Sales Manager for the North West, Nathan Macphail had been regularly playing 7-a-side football at Gateshead with a group of like-minded players, when the group got towards 20 people, who all wanted to play Nathan decided to create a new team.
After a May meeting with the FA, they agreed to be an affiliate of the new team, FC Winlaton. All the Team needed was a sponsor for their kits. As a growing business in the area, our ethos is to give back to the community and so we were delighted to be able to sponsor the team’s kit.
The team have done well so far, winning 2 of their 3 pre-season games! Made up of gents between the ages of 18-39, the team can be found playing out of Winlaton Vulcan Rugby Club. Nathan explained what Quantum’s sponsorship meant to him and the team ‘We’re really grateful for Quantum’s sponsorship, it’s been great to get our kits and feel even more like a team, it’s done wonders for the morale.’
